Establish New Programs

Global Education Office can help you create a new study-abroad program or an academic exchange for students.

Over the years, the office has partnered with departments to create faculty-led IAP courses (3 in Madrid and 1 in London), a semester program in Madrid, and exchanges with Imperial College London (Course 3 and multi-departmental for summer research), ETH Zurich (Course 2 and 6), University of Tokyo (Course 2 and 3), University of Oxford (Course 3), University of Pretoria (Course 16) and Sciences Po-MIT Exchange in Paris for SHASS. Most recently we expanded the academic exchange with Imperial College London (now in eight departments), and added an exchange with the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Course 22). We also are collaborating to offer two new IAP faculty-led programs: in Brazil and China.

The office assists with program design, and with approval and evaluation process, including memoranda of agreement. Other services include help with recruitment, admissions, transfer credit, student preparation, pre-departure orientation, and health and safety.
